Product development

A structured development process is key for an optimal product

We consider product development to be a structured engineering process. We use the methodology developed by Ulrich & Eppinger.

The purpose of the methodology is to define the task and expand the design space to be able to explore the possible solutions systematically.

A development project can be divided into the following phases.

  1. Planning
  2. Concept generation
  3. System level development
  4. Detail design
  5. Testing and adjusting
  6. Production ramp-up
